TTFC Parents Meeting – Torrey Pines Hike

Where: Torrey Pines State Park, 12600 North Torrey Pines Road, San Diego CA 92037

Dear parents, we want to create a TTFC Parent’s Association and want to hear from you!  The Parent’s Association will be a way for parents to organize their efforts at supporting our fencers and each other, but the details are yet to be decided.  What would YOU like it to be?  Please join us for a hike and a picnic to meet each other and share our ideas for creating a new Parent’s Association (can we come up with a better name?).

Directions to the parking lot: From I-5, take the Carmel Valley Road exit and drive west for about 1.5 miles until you reach Camino Del Mar. Turn left (go south) and proceed along the beach for about half a mile. The entrance to the parking lot is on your right.

From the parking lot we’ll hike about 2 miles to the beach, so please wear sneakers (no flip flops).  For your picnic, there are no trash cans on the beach, so please plan accordingly (see below).  You must take out what you bring in.
