The age old art of swordplay has been well regarded for its many benefits to both the body and the mind. For centuries fencing has been used to improve reaction time, dexterity, and grace (classically trained actors are still required to take both ballet and fencing to develop physical control). Fencing produces long, lean muscles, and develops lightening speed and endurance. Brainpower counts for far more in fencing than most other sports.
