04 Mar Field Trip: Long Beach Grand Prix
Please join TTFC on Saturday, March 18 for a field trip to the International Foil Grand Prix in Long Beach, CA. 9am-6pm.
This is a great opportunity for Team Touché fencers, coaches and parents to see a world class fencing tournament and to travel as a team! All fencers are invited (including foil, epee and sabre). Get autographs and even discuss fencing moves you like with TTFC foil coaches in real time. What a fun way to train!
We will meet at Team Touche at 9:00 am on March 18 and the van will leave for Long Beach at 9:15 sharp. We anticipate to be back to Team Touché Fencing Center by 6pm.
If you would like to go, please pay in full to reserve a place in the van and to buy your discounted ticket ($45 with carpool option or $16 if you’d like to drive with your family). Please email Clinton@teamtouche.com and ask to bill your account; or pay at the front desk. We have 26 spots available for our team including chaperones. Two Team Touché coaches will drive and chaperone. Students Under 12 years old need to be accompanied by an adult. If you would like to volunteer as a chaperone please let us know. Please send your child with a sack lunch or lunch money, and make sure they wear their team warmups, if they have them. Shirts will be available for purchase at the Long Beach convention center.
